This research aims to explore the challenges faced by the Islamic finance industry in Indonesia, especially related to existing regulations. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study identifies the main issues affecting the development of the Islamic finance sector, such as regulatory non-conformity, differences between conventional and Islamic financial systems, and inconsistent supervision. The results of the study show that despite significant progress in Islamic financial regulation, there are still many obstacles in effective implementation. The implications of these findings show that there is a need for more in-depth regulatory adjustments and synergy between supervisory institutions and Islamic financial institutions to improve the performance of this sector.
