This research aims to examine the contribution of sharia economics in realizing sustainable development in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach by analyzing relevant secondary data from various sources, including the annual reports of Islamic financial institutions, government data, and recent literature studies. The analysis was carried out using econometric techniques such as the ARDL and ECM models to examine the long-term relationship between the sharia economic sector and sustainable development in Indonesia. The results show that the Islamic banking sector plays a key role in supporting inclusive economic growth, with profit-sharing-based financing focusing on the development of MSMEs. In addition, zakat, infaq, and waqf have proven to have a significant contribution in reducing social inequality and increasing access to sustainable education, health, and infrastructure. The sharia economy in Indonesia has also been proven to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in terms of poverty alleviation and improving the quality of life. The implication of these findings is the importance of strengthening regulations and policies that support the development of the Islamic economic sector, especially in terms of Islamic banking, zakat, and waqf.
