The concept of green economy developed in response to the global ecological crisis and the need for sustainable development. In this context, Islamic economics provides a strong ethical and normative foundation to support the implementation of the green economy through the principles of balance (mizan), environmental preservation (hifz al-bi'ah), and prohibition of exploitative economic practices. This study aims to examine the prospects for the implementation of green economy from the perspective of Islamic economics with a qualitative approach based on literature studies and case studies of countries with sharia economic policies. The results of the analysis show that Islamic economics can enrich the green economy framework through a value and moral approach, Islamic financial instruments such as green sukuk, and governance oriented towards the public benefit. The study also identified implementation challenges such as policy fragmentation, low ecological awareness among the people, and limited sharia-based green market incentives. Therefore, the synergy between sharia principles and environmental policies is crucial to realize inclusive and equitable green development.
